I am a self employed podiatrist and began private practice in 1977 in my home town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and relocated to San Diego in January of 1979. My first practice was in Pacific Beach. I also began to practice in El Cajon in March of 1991 and actively practice in both locations. My practice is general and I have an emphasis on orthopedic, biomechanical and surgical problems. I also have an interest in diabetic wound care and sports medicine problems, especially bicyclists and triathletes.

Dr. Ciccone, age 60, is married to Debra, a government attorney for 24 years. He has one son Anthony, age 21, (Univ. Wisconsin) and family interests are baseball, golf and travel. Personal interests are bicycle racing, softball, and Senior Olympic Sports. Dr. Ciccone holds a 2008 Gold Medal in Javelin Senior Olympics and a Gold Medal in Freestyle swimming and was part of the Silver Medal Softball team.
